Dr Chen is really awesome doctor. He helps me a lot with my health issue as always. But I had an unpleasant experience with the office/nurse for billing as she is not really trying to help me and sometimes I feel she is mean, which made me feel very uncomfortable.

I strongly suggest everyone to avoid this doctor. He was my PCP from 2010 till 2014. When I had early diagnosis of CKD from my 2011 medical reports, he never informed me about this. He did not treat my other medical issues. When i had a different PCP from 2015, i found out about all my medical problems. He should not be practicing at all. He was always very concerned about ordering for any new tests, because he was worried about Insurance company expenses. I am surprised he is still practicing?

Dr Chen is very thorough and listens well and takes action immediately.

Dr Chen took time to show me on the computer how to make a hard appointment on my chart.

This place is an absolute disgrace. ZERO empathy. I was 12 minutes late—12 minutes!—and they had the audacity to tell me I had to reschedule. Are you serious? I waited TWO MONTHS for this appointment, and now because of a tiny delay, I’m being turned away? And at no point did they ever mention anything about a grace period for being late. How are patients supposed to know this? Meanwhile, I’ve always waited at least 10 minutes, if not more, after checking in to see the doctor. But suddenly, now they want to enforce time like clockwork? The hypocrisy is infuriating. As a patient, I expect to be treated with respect and understanding, not dismissed like my time and health mean nothing. Unbelievable.

Dr Chen is knowledgeable, compassionate, thorough, caring, patient & professional. He answered all my questions and explained everything thoroughly without making me feel rushed. Excellent doctor!

Doctor Ihong Chen is the doctor of choice for my Mom, my brother and soon to be for me when I am no longer needing pediatrician. He is a tentative and thorough and thoughtful provider. Nothing but the best to improve our health. Honestly even if we move far away, likely we would not mind to drive far to be seen by him as he is top notch, a true gem in the medical field. His office staff are also solid with a good presence and takes time to get the answer for you. We are beyond grateful

Dr Ihong Chen is an excellent and wonderful doctor. He is passionate, knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. I loved how he carefully reviewed the details of my care with me. I typically dislike medical visits since it can be chaos on the back end but this was a great experience.
