Super kind, super friendly, laughed at a few of my wise cracks, and made what is normally very uncomfortable, comfortable !10/10 to him and his entire staff ! Great team

Dr. Marinescu and his staff are incredibly caring people. I found Dr. Marinescu through my daughter who had been referred by her primary. Unfortunately my daughter and I shared some of the same issues. She had surgery in April and I had mine in June 2021. Dr. Marinescu and his team were very understanding about my situation and for the first time in six years and three different doctors my problems were taken seriously and he gave me hope. It brought me to tears. There are not enough "thank you" to express how grateful I am. The surgery went well but due to my age I need extra help and medication has been prescribed.The girls in the office worked very hard with me get the pr-op tests done, worked with my primary physician and my insurance to get me ready to go for surgery. they were amazing, thank you, ladies!All in all, I had a great experience with D. Marinescu and I just again, want to say, thank you for helping me get my life back!!!

Dr. Marinescu is empathetic and an excellent doctor and surgeon. He made sure I was informed and comfortable at every stage of my care. I had 8 large fibroids that caused me constant pain removed via robotic myomectomy and everything went better than I had hoped. He has exceeded all my expectations for patient care. My husband appreciated that he made a clear and decisive plan and that he cared about me and improving my quality of life. The office is amazing and we have had nothing but excellent experiences with all of the staff. I would give 6 stars if possible. Thank you for seeing the person and not just the procedure as important. Gold standard for patient care 👍

Ive been seeing Dr Marinescu for 5 yrs since we moved to SoCal. He has preformed 2 very successful surgeries as well as the normal obgyn yearly care. He is always very profesional and I love the fact that he is always ontime and has all my info readly available for me to check online. I highly recommend Dr Marinescu he is a wonderful Dr.

I had such a great experience as a first timer. I barely waited to be helped when I checked in. The staff and Dr. Marinescu at OBGYN Care were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr. Marinescu really took his time to explain my condition with me as well as my treatment options. I researched OBGYNs experienced in ovarian complications and immediately knew that Dr. Marinescu was the right choice for me and I have put myself in very capable hands. He made himself available to spend as much time with me as I needed and his demeanor has really put me at ease so I highly recommend this clinic.

My wife was a high risk patient and we moved from northern California to socal in her second trimester. We read all the good reviews here on yelp and trusted Dr. Marinescu with my wife's care. The 1st couple appointments the doctor made my wife feel comfortable and provided all the the necessary info she needed being a first time mom. Buy soon after he slowly started cutting corners and would rush my wife through appointment not address her concerns and make her feel stupid for asking questions. By then my wife was in her third trimester had gestational diabetes and was taking insulin and it was difficult for us to find another high risk gynecologist. Dr Marinescu never told us about the next steps and kept us wondering the entire time what is coming and what will happen. When my wife turned 39 weeks he told us to go to the hospital and ask for an induction because he had not scheduled one. My wife was barely 1 centimeter dilated when they started the induction process. She delivered at hoag hospital and the hospital staff was extremely immature and had no idea of what they were doing. Dr marinescu would contact the staff and have conversations and make decisions without our input. It was extremely difficult for my wife to lay down at the hospital bed and have nurseries and doctors make decisions about her body with out her input. Because of that my wife had to be on epidural for 2.5 days. Dr marinescu never came to check up on her to do an exam and because of inexperienced nurses at the hospital performing multiple vaginal exams my wife developed an infection and fever. This resulted in her being hooked up to antibiotics for 2 days and ended up with several urinary tract infections after her stay. He also gave us the false information that our son was too big to come oit naturally and pressured my wife to get an emergency c section. However my wife insisted on a vaginal delivery and when the baby came out he was only 6 pounds and very petite. It was extremely difficult to reach Marinescu throughout the labor process and he wasn't willing to hear my wife's concerns. Postpartum care was even more atrocious, because while my wife was suffering from several uti infections it was extremely difficult to get medication from him. She suffered for weeks with pain and burning before the doctor got back to us. Overall it was a very poor choice of gynecigist and we hate that his name will be on our sons birth records for life because he truly lacks the empathy a doctor should have towards his patients.
