The moment you hit submit after filling the form, RepuGen’s Scanner will find all of the online reviews associated with your business on the most relevant review sites. This tool will measure the quality, quantity, and frequency of the reviews written and, based on that, assign you a RepuGrade (out of 100). It will then compare your score with 100s of other providers/practices within your specialty.
The RepuGen Reputation Scanner also utilizes artificial intelligence technology to provide an overview of the overall sentiment of your online reputation, including which emotions patients are expressing the most in their reviews. Through this report, you’ll be able to understand your strengths and weaknesses in a snapshot.
RepuGrade is an overall online reputation score of healthcare providers, like doctors, dentists, chiropractors, hospitals, etc., generated by RepuGen. RepuGen scans reviews on the seven most important online review-platforms for doctors: Google, HealthGrades, WebMD, RateMD, Facebook, Yelp, and Vitals. RepuGen considers the average review ratings, the number of reviews, the recency of reviews on each platform, the sentiment analysis of the reviews, and uses its proprietary formula for generating the overall score based on the patient review behavior. The formula uses findings of a RepuGen-conducted patient review behavior research of patients throughout the United States of America in 2020.
Percentile shows how the RepuGrade of a specific healthcare provider matches up to other providers in our database. For example, a percentile score of 90 indicates that the provider’s RepuIndex is among the top ten percent. Similarly, a percentile score of 50 means that the provider is among the top-50 percent providers in our database. Please note that the percentile score is relative to the providers currently in the RepuGen database and could change significantly once more scores are added to the database. RepuGen will not calculate this score unless there are at least 100 providers of the specialty. However, the accuracy of the percentile would be higher with a bigger sample size.
RepuGen conducted a survey on patient review behavior that shows that 79% of patients consider online reviews when selecting a healthcare provider, and 30% say they have avoided doctors who have negative online reviews. Patients rate their experiences and write reviews on many review-platforms, so it is important to know where your online reputation stands to acquire more of the patients that are searching for you.
RepuGen analyzed 1,500+ healthcare providers and found that the provider’s online reviews seldom match the actual patient satisfaction of their practice. A handful of unhappy patients dominate what shows up on the review sites, since unhappy patients are the most likely to leave an unsolicited review. This finding suggests that patients could be making a wrong selection of a provider unless a provider is actively managing their online reputation by asking all patients to rate their experience on the review sites.
We developed RepuGrade so that providers and practices can quickly understand where their reputation stands through a consolidated report of reviews, ratings, recency, sentiment analysis, and reputation.
